The American Old Timers formed in 1988 as a result of the westward expansion of the National Old Timers. The National Old Timers, an eastern seaboard organization, was founded in 1963. Currently, there are twelve chapters in the American Old Timers. Eight chapters are located in Ohio (Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Kenwood, Trotwood, Warrensville & Westerville); two chapters in Pennsylvania (Allegheny & Pittsburgh); one chapter in Lexington, Kentucky and one chapter in Detroit, Michigan.

The American Old Timers and its chapters are non-profit and work to enhance the lives of young people. Get involved with your local chapter as they work to improve communities by reaching and teaching today’s youth—tomorrow’s adults.
